2 cent Washington, private perforations

I bought an old stamp album today, 1917, and this was in it. Not a terribly common stamp. I might have to have someone look at it. To get technical, I think it may be a Schermack Type III perf, I'm certainly no expert and could easily be wrong. If you know something or someone I should talk to, drop me a comment. Thanks!

A nice find

I did not realize I had this booklet with label from the Netherlands. Granted it is used and one stamp is creased but still, nice to find something you didn't even know you had. Perhaps I need some help in going through all these teeny tiny pieces of paper?

Looking "back" on stamps!

Tonight I decided to take a second look at some of my stamps and found these. One British, one Denmark. What is strange is the markings on the back of the stamps. The Great Britain stamp looks almost "pre canceled" on the reverse. The Denmark stamp? I have no idea what the "3" stamp is. Any ideas on these? Please leave a comment and they get emailed to me. Thanks!

**I think I've identified the marks on the Great Britain stamp. "Training Stamps" were marked with black lines to ensure they don't get used for postage after being used to train new postal employees. It appears this one, and the sheet it would have come from, were incorrectly marked on the back.
